Respect Your Ride

Respect Your Ride

The Delaware Office of Highway Safety, along with ab+c, wanted to promote motorcycle safety by providing new riders with helpful tips and information, while also offering seasoned riders directions to some fantastic riding routes.

In Delaware there is an average of 20 motorcycle riders killed on the roads each year. About half of the time the rider is at fault and the other half the motorist is at fault. Alcohol is involved in about a quarter of these incidents. With this in mind, we wanted to create a comprehensive campaign that targeted both riders and motorists with messages tailored to their specific issues, in hopes of reducing motorcycle fatalities in the state.

We accomplished this goal by urging riders to be safe and wear the proper gear as well as promoting the safety/training courses offered in the area.
